An abandoned space is portrayed in still images. It is an asparagus farm in the west of Brandenburg, Germany. During the three months of the farming season there is a lot of traffic. The remainder of the year the farm is nearly empty. The yard, the restaurant, the private rooms of the asparagus farmers and the lodgings of the Polish workers seem like time capsules. Due to the lack of human beings, the attention is focused on the objects. These objects seem to dominate the space. The long static shots give them time to tell their inscribed stories. The stillness of the space is captured in the moving images.
